God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can't take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. - Ephesians 2:8-9
Oh how easy has it been throughout my life to become conceited in my walk with Christ. Thinking I knew the Bible better than others or that I had a closer walk with Christ than someone else, but that's not the gospel. I have nothing to boast about except the amazing love and grace of Jesus Christ and it is certainly not the love and grace of Jesus Christ that gives me the ego to make me feel that I'm more superior than someone else.
Salvation in Christ is not something to feel superior about, but a gift from God that I should feel overjoyed in and should want to share with everyone so that they too can taste the same joys of salvation.
But may all who search for you be filled with joy and gladness in you. May those who love your salvation repeatedly shout, "The Lord is great!" - Psalm 40:16
